Art Resin Epoxy 1:1 is a clear, low-viscosity epoxy resin for resin art, canvas coating and decorative pieces. Resin and hardener mix in equal parts by volume, giving you about 30 minutes of working time at 25 °C to pour, spread and let it self-level to a glass-like, high-gloss finish. Once cured it is tough and impact resistant, with heat resistance up to about 80 °C. Available in 2L, 4L and 10L kits.

Which kit size do I need?
2L Kit
1L resin + 1L hardener. Covers approx. 2 m² at 1 mm.
4L Kit
2L resin + 2L hardener. Covers approx. 4 m² at 1 mm.
10L Kit
5L resin + 5L hardener. Covers approx. 10 m² at 1 mm.
Coverage is a guide. It is based on a smooth, non-porous surface. Raw timber and canvas absorb more resin, so seal them first and allow a little extra.

How to use Art Resin Epoxy 1:1

Prepare the surface
Make sure the surface is clean, dry and level. Seal porous surfaces first to help prevent air release and resin absorption.

Measure 1:1
Measure Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) in equal parts by volume.

Mix thoroughly
Mix for at least 3 minutes, scraping the sides and base of the container.

Pour and spread
Pour and let the resin self-level. For items with rounded edges, let the mixed resin sit for about 15 minutes first so it thickens and holds on the edges.

Remove bubbles
Pass gentle heat over the surface to release any bubbles, then leave it to cure.
Pour 1–12 mm per layer. For a thicker build, pour in layers rather than one deep pour.
