The Art Resin Epoxy 1:1 2L Kit is an easy epoxy resin kit for resin art: 1 litre of resin and 1 litre of hardener that mix in equal parts by volume. It cures crystal clear with a high-gloss, self-levelling finish on canvas, timber, coasters and small moulds, with about 30 minutes of working time at 25 °C and low odour.

How to use Art Resin Epoxy 1:1

Prepare the surface
Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Seal porous surfaces first to help prevent air release and resin absorption.

Measure 1:1
Measure Part A (resin) and Part B (hardener) in equal parts by volume.

Mix thoroughly
Mix for at least 3 minutes, scraping the sides and base of the container.

Pour
Pour and let the resin self-level. For items with rounded edges, let the mixed resin sit for about 15 minutes first so it thickens and holds on the edges.

Remove bubbles
Pass gentle heat over the surface to remove any bubbles, then leave it to cure.
Pour up to 12 mm in one pour. Build thicker pieces in layers.

Safety & storage
Protection
Wear protective gloves, a mask and safety glasses when mixing and using. Always wear a suitable mask when using solvent-based cleaners.
Ventilation
Use in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Over-exposure may cause sensitisation.
Storage
Keep containers tightly sealed. Store at room temperature (approx. 18 °C), away from direct sunlight and not directly on concrete floors.
Clean-up
Clean tools and surfaces with orange citrus solvent, methylated spirits or a resin cleaner. If resin gets on your skin, wipe it off and wash with soap and water. Never use solvents on skin.
