Liquid Brushable Latex is a type of moulding compound that relies on pre-vulcanised natural rubber latex. It is specifically designed for mould production and can be air dried to form a durable and elastic film.

The higher solid content of Brushable Latex results in a higher viscosity, which makes it less likely to produce runs or sags during application. Brushable is a versatile compound that can be used to create master moulds from a variety of materials, including fibreglass, clay, plaster, glass, and concrete. With its ability to produce strong and precise moulds, Brushable is an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in the manufacturing and creative industries.

  • Low Shrinkage
  • Less Layers Needed
  • Excellent Mould Maker
  • High Solids
DIRECTIONS:

Start by making sure everything is clean, free from and dust or oil. Apply over PVC mould release on a prepared surface straight from the container. Allow to set and apply further coats in the same way. Brush latex from top to bottom of the model and overlap for every coat.

The excess film of the first coat can be used as a handle in casting. Dry the first coat at room temperature to minimize lifting from the master. Subsequent coats can be applied once the first coat is dry to the touch. Drying between coats can be done at room temperature from 22 degrees to 26 degrees.

Very easy to use and produced excellent moulds that are faithfully reproduced using Plaster of Paris. I would recommend this product.

I use this on the parts of my project I DONT want resin, it is so much more full proof then tape, it just does not fail.
