Use acrylic paint or inks for colours for tinting and changing the colour, or layer the compound for added depth. The compound dries within 24 hours and can be shaped or textured with various tools. If cracks appear, they can easily be filled in, and the surface can be sanded for a polished finish. Perfect for adding textured dimensions to your art projects!

Prepare the Surface:

Apply a very thin layer (approximately 1 mm thick) of Joint Compound to the surface of your project.

 Allow this layer to dry naturally, about 2 hours.

Apply the DIMENSIONAL JOINT COMPOUND:

Generously spread the Dimensional Joint Compound onto the surface of your artwork

For best results, do not exceed a thickness of 3.5 mm. Thicker applications may lead to inconsistent drying and potential cracking.

Create Textures:

Use a textured tool or palette knife to craft your desired patterns and designs on the surface.

Drying Time:

Allow the applied compound to fully dry for 24 hours before adding any additional layers or painting.

Tips:

Colour Customization: Use Solid Solutions Acrylic Paint or inks can be mixed into the Dimensional Joint Compound

before use and can also be applied after the compound has cured.

Handling Cracks: If cracking occurs after drying, carefully fill the cracks with additional

Dimensional Joint Compound and allow it to dry.

Layering: You can add additional layers of Dimensional Joint Compound to your artwork, but make sure the previous layers are completely dry before applying more.

Sanding: Once dried, the surface can be sanded to create further effects. Wear a properly fitted face mask and protective glasses when sanding.

Storage: Always replace the lid of the container securely when not in use.
