The Epoxy Casting Resin 1:1 2L Kit is a crystal clear epoxy casting resin for moulds, jewellery, flower preservation and coasters. Equal parts mixing keeps it simple, it gives about 60 minutes of working time at 20 °C, and it pours from 1 mm up to 50 mm with a low bubble, glass-like finish.

How to use Epoxy Casting Resin

Measure
Measure equal parts of resin and hardener.

Mix
Mix slowly and thoroughly for 3–5 minutes until clear.

Pour
Pour into your chosen mould or project, from 1 mm up to 50 mm. Embed objects or layer colours as you go.

Remove bubbles
Pass a propane torch over the surface to release micro bubbles.

Cure
Allow about 24 hours to set and 2–4 days for full cure.
About 60 minutes working time at 20 °C. Thin pours take longer to fully cure.
FAQs
Safety
Protection
Wear protective gloves and glasses when mixing and using. Always wear a mask when using any solvent cleaner.
Ventilation
Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Over-exposure may cause sensitisation.
Clean-up
Clean tools and surfaces with orange citrus solvent, methylated spirits or a resin cleaner. If resin gets on your skin, wipe it off and wash with soap and water. Never use solvents on skin.
Bubbles
Use a propane torch to release micro bubbles from the surface after pouring.
