Metallic Coastal Breeze epoxy pigment paste gives clear epoxy resin a metallic teal shimmer. This highly concentrated, lightfast metallic paste comes in a 30mL jar and disperses easily in epoxy resin and Solid Cast 660 Polyurethane Casting Resin. Use it for coastal resin art, metallic river tables and shimmering castings. Dose at 2–5% of your mixed resin. A little goes a long way.

Shallow water and coastal scenes
Use it for the shallows in beach scenes, tropical water and coastal palettes, with white pigment paste over the top for waves.
River tables and castings
Pour a metallic teal river in River Resin Deep Cast Epoxy, or dose close to 5% for strong metallic colour in moulds, coasters and trays. Test on an offcut first, because the timber colour changes how the teal reads.

How to colour epoxy resin metallic teal

Stir well before use
Metallic pigment can settle in the jar, so stir the paste through before you measure it.

Mix the resin first
Combine your resin and hardener at the correct ratio and mix thoroughly before adding the metallic paste.

Dose a little at a time
Start near 2% and increase towards 5% for a stronger metallic colour. You can add more, but you can't take it out.

Mix until even
Scrape the sides and base of the cup and keep mixing until the shimmer is even throughout.

Pour
Pour as normal. Viscosity varies from colour to colour across the range because each pigment is different.
Stay within 5%. Too much pigment can leave the resin soft or tacky.
FAQs
Not suitable for UV resin. Epoxy pigment paste is not designed for UV resin.
