The Epoxy Resin Art 609 1:1 10L Kit is a clear, flexible two part epoxy resin for large surface areas, timber and studio resin art. It covers approximately 10 m² at 1 mm, pours from 1 mm to 25 mm, and gives a smooth, even, glass like finish equal to 50 coats of varnish.

How to use Resin Art 609
1
Set up
Make sure the object is clean and dry. Set it up on a plastic-covered surface and check it is level with a spirit level.

Measure 1:1
Measure 1 part A to 1 part B by volume.

Mix
Mix in a straight-sided, flat-bottomed container (not an ice cream container) with a flat, ruler-shaped stick. Scrape the sides and base until the mix is crystal clear and free of streaks.

Pour
Pour over your piece and let it self level. Add pigments or dyes for a deep 3D glass art look.

Cure
At 20 °C, allow about 1 day to cure and about 3 days for full cure.
About 20 minutes working time at 25 °C. Mix only what you can pour in that time.

Safety & storage
Protection
Wear protective gloves and glasses when mixing and using. Always wear a mask when using any solvent cleaner.
Ventilation
Work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Over-exposure may cause sensitisation.
Storage
Keep caps on bottles when not in use. Store at room temperature (approx. 18 °C), away from direct sunlight and not on concrete floors.
Clean-up
Remove uncured resin with a solvent or methylated spirits, then wash with warm soapy water.
