Important: Weigh Part A and Part B Accurately

Getting the 1:1 ratio right matters — weigh Part A and Part B on a scale rather than estimating by eye or volume. If the two parts aren't in equal weights, the chemical reaction between them can be thrown off, and the putty may stay soft and tacky or fail to cure at all. When in doubt, weigh out slightly more than you think you'll need from each jar in equal amounts, rather than guessing a smaller quantity.

Why Putty Instead of Liquid Silicone?

Unlike a pourable liquid silicone, this putty needs no mixing sticks, measuring cups or containment walls — you knead it by hand and press it straight onto your object, so it works just as well on a vertical or overhead surface as it does on a bench. It's self-releasing, so there's no mould release agent to apply first, and it goes from mixing to a usable mould in well under half an hour rather than the hours a poured silicone needs to cure.
