About Burnt Umber

Burnt Umber, a luxurious dark brown pigment, is crafted from natural brown clays discovered in the earth. Its name is a nod to Umbria, a region in Italy where it was historically mined.

The process of burning the raw pigment enhances its colour intensity.

Great product and price

The Burnt Umber Paint is great for realistic paintings and is a bit translucent which is great for not loading too much pigment with the brush

My first order was exceptional value. The paint was smooth and buttery. I was impressed with the range of colours. I have already finished my first painting. I’m sure I will be back for more.
