About Raw Sienna
A vivid brown earth colour with a yellow undertone and a semi-transparent body, Raw Sienna is among the oldest pigments, dating back to prehistoric cave art.
Its name is derived from Siena, Italy, where the pigment was originally sourced during the Renaissance.
